Happy Halloween!

We had such a fun Halloween!  Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa's church for Harvest Fest - Makenna had so much fun running around and playing in the nursery there.

We made it home just in time for trick or treating in our neighborhood before the rain came

Racing sausage party in the wagon.  Which sausage is missing?  Can you tell?  Gonna have to add that one to her Christmas list;)

Mommy, this sombrero is TOO big

Hey, look, I've got a bat, too!

Off we go!

T. Plush..... sweet!

You can't expect a racing sausage to stay in a wagon too long...

She decided to help daddy with the wagon

Such a happy little sausage:)

SOOO excited to see Annika, all dressed as Rapunzel

And the winner is.......

The chorizo!!!!!  We went to the domes tonight for their Halloween party and Makenna won 1st prize in their costume contest!!  For those of you that aren't from Milwaukee, the mascots for the Brewers are the Racing Sausages.  Makenna is #5, the Chorizo.

Totally posing for me:)

Ok, I LOVE this picture.  Makenna is SO excited every time she sees her Grandmas and this totally captures her excitement.  Love it!

She was THRILLED to spot Abby Cadabby at the Halloween party!  Kisses!

And here she is spotting Abby Cadabby #2.

And SCREAMING when we had to leave Abby Cadabby.  Ha!  I was laughing so hard.  She was so sad to have to leave her behind.  Poor thing.

Daddy and his little "weiner"  ha!!  Sorry, honey.  I couldn't resist.

It was really pretty at the Domes with all the flowers.

Here she is posing for me with her Brewers bat.  She is definitely her daddy's little girl.  I don't have the heart to tell her the Brewers are out of the playoffs.  Every morning and afternoon when I drive by Miller Park on the way to and from the sitter's house she points to it and says "Brew".  Its so cute.  She says it all on her own, too, without any prompting.  She said it again tonight on the way to the Domes when we drove by - she was so proud she looked at Daddy, pointed out the window and said "Brew".  Daddy was so proud:)

Getting ready for Halloween

In light of all the Brewer hype, we decided to go with the Chorizo Racing Sausage for this year's costume.  Daddy says this might be the only year we get to pick what she will be so he's staying away from the princess and frilly stuff.

There aren't any racing sausage costumes you can go out and buy (part of the reason I like it so much) so we had to get creative with this one......

Let's just say we started out with a dog banana costume, and after a little Oma magic sewing skills....

Here's what we've got so far:

I still need to figure out how to get the Sombrero to stay on and figure out the accessories, but I must say Oma did a GREAT job.  Thanks, Oma!!

Little Chute weekend

Last night we headed up to Little Chute for my friends Jenny and Bob's wedding.  Makenna spent the night with her cousins and had LOTS of fun!!

Makenna cheering on cousin Drew at his football game this morning
Makenna and Bryceman chillin' with some morning cartoons

Heading to Drew's game

Cookie smooches
Doesn't Auntie look FAB!  She recently lost 20 lbs!!  Way to go Auntie!
I love this one of Bryce, Oma and Kenna

A badger player and his little cheerleader

Aren't they sweet?

Makenna, Bryce and Madison - matching piggies on the girls:)

Oma kisses!
Makenna started doing the SWEETEST thing this week.  Oma will put her arms out really wide and say "Oma kisses" and Makenna will run to her  and give her a huge kiss.  Its too too cute.

Love the piggies, Mads!  Love the missing front tooth, too!
