Quite the busy weekend....

10 month update

This last month has definitley gone by the quickest!  I'm not sure if its tax season getting the best of us or the fact that she is just so much fun these days!!  Every month I say I don't want her to get any bigger and then she gets bigger & the next stage is even more fun.  First things first, here are the 10 month pics:

This month's shot with Mr. Monkey was a little tougher.....

First it was the books enticing her....

So I gave her my cell phone to get her to sit still, but that didn't work very well either...

And there she goes again, so proud of herself!

This is one of the only ones I got of her sitting nicely by the monkey - such a silly look on her face!

So, what's my little 10 month old up to?  LOTS!! 

-She finally started crawling this month and the past few weeks has gotten pretty quick.  Its all she wants to do when I put her down.  Melts my heart to see her crawling towards me, looking for me to give her a big hug:) 

-She babbles and babbles and babbles some more.  Her latest favorite is a cute little aaAAaah (that's really hard to spell out the way it sounds), but is super cute and its her little way of telling us she's excited.  She does it all the time. 

-She's started with so big and paddycake all by herself.  She'll clap and sign more when I'm feeding her and say "ma", which I'm pretty sure is her more. 

-She started waving bye bye too and is so proud of herself when she does it

-She is a social little butterfly.  Between last weekends wedding and a few showers I took her to this weekend, its so funny to watch her show off in front of new people.  Its like she knows she's cute and so when they tell her, she smiles the biggest smile at them.  She sure knows how to turn on the charm!

-Still only her 2 bottom teeth, but I have a feeling the top ones are going to be here any day now. 

-She loves books. She'll sit on your lap so nicely and listen to you read to her and when you are done she'll sit and flip the pages back and forth.  She LOVES it! 

-She's really starting to recogize Grandma and Grandpa and Oma and Papa.  Its SO sweet to see her face light up when they come over!  I think she's got all 4 of them wrapped around her little finger:) 

-She's started a little bit with stranger snuggles, when she sees someone new and I'm holding her, she'll snuggle toward me all shy and then pick her head up and smile really big.  I love it- the snuggles are the best!

-She's REALLY looking forward to the end of tax season as are mommy and daddy!!

A few weeks ago it was snowing the BIGGEST snowflakes so I couldn't resist taking her outside to let them melt on her face.  She LOVED it!!  My little snowflake:)
