Happy 5th birthday Makenna!!
You woke up for the 5th year in a row to balloons in your bed....and you were SO excited about it! You just kept saying thank you mommy, thank you!!
Daddy wasn't quite ready to share in the birthday excitement....
Yesterday in the Dells you picked out an Ariel and Rapunzel doll at the Disney store for your gift, but I wanted to have something to surprise you with for your birthday morning.....
A new scooter!
Pancakes for breakfast with your bubbies!
What a fun surprise the neighbors left for us on the driveway!!
Your birthday treat for school - mama's homemade sugar cookies with Paw Patrol rings. You were SO exited to be the birthday girl at school!
You managed to snag quite a few of the rings, too.
After school, we headed to the zoo to see Grandpa. You generally don't like the zoo but I told you we could just go on the carousel and train ride over and over and that had you convinced.
Love this!
You even got to pull the train whistle!
Which scared the crap out of your brother....
You got to ride your favorite blue jewel eyed pony on the carousel TWICE
So pretty!!
You told EVERYONE we came into contact with that it was your birthday today. Love that you share the same excitement I do for birthdays - it made spending the day with you so fun!!
After that we headed over to the dinosaur exhibit.
You actually really liked it.
But, the Tyrannosaurus Rex scared the crap out of your brother.
We headed back over for one more train ride and one more carousel ride. You got to ride on the caboose with Grandpa! You had a great time!
Then mama surprised you with your first Starbucks treat - a mini frap. You kept asking who the second one was for...
We met daddy and Oma and Papa at Red Robin for dinner where you were so excited when they sang to you.
This is your "no, I'm not going to share this" face.
And then headed home for a Jammie walk with your new scooter in your new My Little Pony Jammies.
What a great day!!
