What a good day!!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa B for babysitting me this morning so mommy could go to Starbucks and read!!

I promised Makenna that after her nap we could go swimming with daddy - here she is after a good long nap all happy and ready to go!

She and daddy had SO much fun at the pool!

Wowee, swimming makes me sleepy! Time for some daddy cuddles...

What a good day and a happy happy baby girl. She's just SO stinkin' cute!

Does this suit make me look fat?

Took Makenna on her first swimming excursion at the Wisconsin Athletic Club. We had lots of fun and thankfully, some kind ladies were able to take a few pics of us:) Although I, of course made sure to take plenty before we left, too!

She seems very unimpressed in this picture. She actually was having a pretty good time - she kept moving her legs around in the water and then letting them float up.

In a few weeks, Amy & Eric and the kids are coming down for a waterpark weekend at the Country Springs - Makenna is going to have SO much fun with them!! I love that she has on Madison's old swimsuit and coverup, too. Thanks, Amy! I'm prety sure the pear suit wasn't going to fit her anymore--

First Haircut!

Today Oma and I gave Makenna her very first haircut. I must admit I had a hard time doing it - but her hair was getting a bit long in the back and it was time to ax the mullet. A little off the back and a little off the sides and she's a brand new girl.

Not sure i'm ready for this..
