Thanksgiving was a blast this year! We headed up to my parents house on Wednesday night and got to snuggle with Papa on Thanksgiving morning.
Then it was on to the nursing home to visit Great Grandma & Grandpa
Then we headed back to Little Chute to have dinner at Auntie Amy & Uncle Eric's house
That's some gooood turkey!
Black friday wouldn't be complete without a shopping trip with Mama and Oma!
This little guy was a champ....
But was even more excited when he got to see Wrigley waiting for him at Oma's house!
And he got to play with cousin Penelope!
Then it was off to Peggy's house to hang out with Tyler.
These two are trouble!
Saturday morning, we put up the Christmas tree. This little guy was content as can be walking around the house jingling the bells he found.
He only tried to touch the ornaments a few times but quickly realized they were off limits.
He LOVES the tree and all the lights. When we go downstairs in the morning he makes me turn on both sets of tree lights, the lights in the kitchen and the lights over the cabinets. He will point at them and grunt until I turn them on and then his whole face lights up. I love it!
I did a second tree this year that has all my Christmas cards on it. Alex loves checking out all the cards on it....

Sunday we headed to the Kalahari for our annual vacation/tax seminar...
Alex loved all the animals inside
He wasn't so sure about the ferris wheel though...
He was a bit of a cheater when it came to putt putt...
Daddy and sissy had a blast playing though...
He had a good time hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa on Monday while mommy and daddy were in "school"

Monday night things started to go downhill and Alex woke up screaming in the middle of the night.....
Thankfully he had Oma to snuggle him all day on Tuesday because he woke up with a fever of 103.7.
After the seminar, he still wasn't feeling better so we decided to head home rather than stay another night...
We did manage to get one quick picture by the fireplace on our way out...
And this little guy looked like he was already feeling better.
He had a cranky ride so we decided to drop me and Alex off at the outlet mall while Daddy and Makenna grabbed dinner. Clearly retail therapy was all he needed....
He was like this the entire time we shopped..... sassy boy!
Looks like someone was just homesick. He was so excited to come home and see his tree:)
This is literally him 3 hours after the above picture of him was taken with him holding big bird on my lap....
Sissy checked him out just to be sure....
