An end to tax season...... at last!!

Alex donned his Happy Tax Day shirt for the second straight year.... yes - it is a size 9 months and I could still squeeze him into it:) 

We ended the worst tax season yet with a loooooong morning for Daddy and a less than stellar trip to get our massages.......well, daddy anyway after they screwed up mama's reservation.  Oh well.... she at least got some good shopping in.

At last!!  Daddy's home to ready me my bedtime stories!!

April 16th "aka family day" we had  great time just hanging out together...

We started the day at Cafe Hollander for some breakfast

It was a BEAUTIFUL day outside!!

And then off to the zoo!!  Makenna was SO excited to ride the merry go round, though we were a little disappointed Grandpa had already left for the day after they decided not to run the choo choo.  Bummer!

Daddy and Makenna headed to her favorite part of the zoo - the playground!  Goof ball!

While Alex took a little snooze in the stroller....

The brown bear was VERY active and lots of fun to watch swim and splash.

And Bubbers KEPT sleeping...

Next stop, off to get daddy a haircut and then to see Cinderella....

while mommy and Bubbies run a few errands and take him home for a nap...

Look who's home already?!?!  Turns out this little one wasn't such a big fan of Cinderella so they only made it through enough of the show to eat her popcorn, oreos, fruit snacks and juice.....

Time for a quick walk to the pine cone tree and....

Well, until 11:30pm anyway which is when this one woke up, apparently not wanting family day to end.  Remember all those treats at the movie theater?!? Yup, they all came back up in the middle of the night.  Let's just say purple puke is NOT fun to clean up in the middle of the night.....Yikes!

Nevertheless, we had a great day and so much fun just being together ALL day!!

Love you daddy - we are so proud of how hard you worked this tax season and now we are SO excited to have you back!!
