I can't believe what a little girl you are turning into! I miss my sweet baby, but love watching your little personality blossom. I love writing about what you are up to each month because it helps me to remember every little detail. Some of the things that really make your daddy and I smile and laugh this month:
-You love to read Thumper with daddy at night. You will run into our bedroom looking for your Thumper book yelling "bunny! bunny!" in the cutest little voice. You and daddy snuggle together and as he turns each page, you yell "bunny!" and "duck" and all the other animals you see. Then you insist that he reads your "Kenna" book with you. Its your 13-18 month photo book that mommy put together for you. You love to "count the Kenna's" as you flip the pages & point out everyone you see. Your favorite to say is "Kenna!", but you are sure to point out mommy & daddy too.
-Once you are done reading with daddy, we will watch a video or two with you on YouTube. It is most always Elmo or something Sesame Street. You have your favorites, but once we over do them you repeat no, no it a sweet little voice to let us know you don't want that one anymore. Your current favorite is the bubbles video of a little girl blowing bubbles. We love to watch your face light up as you watch the videos. You are so sweet. The way you say bubbles is so cute - you get very excited.
-You are VERY into your music. As soon as you wake up in the morning, you run over to the stereo and ask us to turn on your "mooosic". You like to dance along and whenever "Robert", a boy from the CD comes on to talk you say "hi!" and sometimes "Hi Robert". You really like your Cedarmont Kids bible videos and when I ask you if you want to watch your bible video you will say bible bible bible over and over.
-You have learned who Mickey and Minnie are and will often choose to watch them over Elmo lately. You love to sing and dance to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song.
-You are still the sweetest little hugger and kisser. You love to run over to daddy when he gets home from work and give him a big hug and kiss. Daddy has been trying very hard to make sure he gets home to see you before bed, even in the midst of a busy tax season and you make sure and make him feel very loved. We always say you are so sweet when you hug us and just the other day you started hugging and then saying "sweet" as you pat our backs. Ha!
-You are getting very vocal again with your "hi" and "bye". When we go to the store, you will say bye and blow kisses to just about anyone. When you and mommy are at the mall and you go in a store that has a TV in it, mommy always tells you to say "bye" to the TV to get you to go without a fuss. Now you are very good at saying bye to every TV that you see, whether at someone's house or in a store. "Bye TV".
-You are so very addicted to technology and as a result, it is getting harder and harder to take your picture. You insist that you have the camera/phone/ipad so you can see the "piture". You don't yet understand how to smile for the camera so I can actually take your picture so you can then see it on the camera. Silly girl.
-You LOVE it at the sitter's house. You and Ollie have so much fun. Lately when I go to leave in the morning, I play peek with you and blow kisses at you and Ollie by the door. You both giggle SO hard and look at each other and smile. It is so very sweet. Miss Stacey takes very good care of you and you would play there all night if I let you.
-You are showing glimpses of the terrible 2's. Mostly it pops out when we try to get you in your car seat or change your diaper. This month we actually turned your car seat forward because mommy was having a very hard time getting you in it with you facing backwards and throwing a fit. We are learning together how to survive these new "outbursts":) We do know that you are one fiesty little girl with a very strong will. We just keep praying that God will use that for good some day!

You love being silly.... it will usually snap you out of most tantrums. Here we are as you decided to crawl into your little suitcase....
