Tonight we are missing daddy.....after her tubby, Makenna looks at me and says "Mama, we got noone to find us" in the saddest little voice. She has said this a few other times right before bed - that is usually our family time together. Makenna and I run upstairs and hide under the blanket and daddy comes up and pretends he can't find us while Makenna keeps yelling - "Daddy you'll never find us" and then "Daddy, we're under the blanket!" It is the sweetest funniest thing! Thankfullly we are just a little over a month from the end of tax season! We really can't complain - every week it seems we get a few good nights with Daddy, even if it is just for a bit after dinner before he locks himself in his office for the rest of the night. Daddy - we want you to know that we love you and we are very proud of you. We know you are getting very worn out and more than anything you would love to spend an entire day with us, too. You are doing such a good job this tax season at making us girls feel extra special with the little things you do and the way you make the short times we do have together so much fun. We love nothing more than to put a smile on your face on those days when you get really stressed. The end is in sight. We look very forward to spending ALL day with you on April 16th!!
